Forgetful

I've been very forgetful lately. Yesterday, I can't find my watch for a good 10 minutes until I called my hub. Of course, he told me he saw it on the kitchen top a night before, but I couldn't find it anywhere! In the end, I looked through my bag and found it. So, I must have forgetten that I put it in!!! Silly me.

Luckily I don't have a lot of precious stuffs at home, and not even more than one diamond wedding rings. I used to lose my rings and earrings often, but now I don't have much to lose. LOL!

Most importantly, I must remember where I place my phone everyday. I can't leave home without it!

New staff

My new admin staffs seems pretty capable, after working for a month. She learns fast, and she is quite hardworking too. At least, that's what I can see in a month!

She has not been working much previous years but she doesn't have problem learning the accounting software, which I found is pretty easy too. I don't know why other admins under SIL claim that it's hard. You ladies haven't seen the machine programming software which I used to work with! Or maybe those medical computers at Howard-Medical.com?

Hopefully, she can work for us for long, and won't turn into something I dread. :P

Zzz...

I haven't been sleeping well these few days. Maybe I'm still trying to get used to the new pillows and bed. Or should I try body pillows? They look comfy.

Furthermore, the kids can't seem to sleep through the night and keep waking up and looking for us. So, all of us have panda eyes now!

So sleepy now. I should get another cup of coffee to stay awake.

Chinese New Year 2012

I must say that I'm always late in preparing for Chinese New Year, but this year, it's the worst! Firstly, the condo is not ready, and my stuffs are still piling up everywhere. I can't seem to find enough storage space here!

I'm getting tired of cleaning up the mess each day after the workers do some work here and there. Why can't they just do one shot and let me clean up in a day and that's it!

If they can't finish by this Friday, I will surely ask for discount. It's not that we haven't paid up 90%, the balance of the payment, you long long wait la. I will delay it unless they finish in time.

One Tree Hill

My sister is obsessed with One Tree Hill. She has been talking about the season premiere for weeks, and essentially live blogged the entire episode on Facebook. I, for one, cannot believe that show is even still on! It’s been on for years, and I actually tuned in for a few episodes in the beginning. It was fairly innocuous at that point—it chronicled a bunch of high schoolers living in the town of Tree Hill and was a little reminiscent of Beverly Hills: 90210 for me. And that’s where things all started going downhill. It quickly became an insufferable soap opera of love triangles and rampant depression. And now, it’s been on for years and just keeps getting worse. The plot lines are completely unrealistic, and the characters are actually pretty terrible as well. There is not much redeeming about that show for me, other than the fact that soundtrack is pretty great. Luckily, I’ve been told this is the final season. The promos are all encouraging everyone to come back for “one final visit to Tree Hill.” Uh, no thanks. I’ll watch 90210 reruns and call it a day. Wedding

One of the office staffs is getting married on Christmas and previously, a few others would rent a van and attend the wedding up north in Chiangrai, but now, only one is going! Everyone is working harder after flood, especially if they have used up their annual leave and were given more than a month of flood holiday. :P

Maybe we will just share out the cost of getting some bride and groom gifts and get the girl to bring them to the happy couple.

Dental Visit

I should bring my boy to his next dental visit, as suggested by the periodontist to seal his new molars. It's easier to bring my boy to dental visits, but not for my gal. She will scream before we even enter the clinic! LOL!

I pity those with Dental Assistant Jobs that have to work close with children who won't cooperate. Oh boy, what a stressful job.

I must find some time to go to the dental clinic before the kids fly back to M'sia.

HK ah?

Out of the blue, hubby suggested that we bring the kids to HK next year, once we have figured out their school holiday. Honestly, I'm not too keen as HK is not exactly a place where I can relax with my kids especially with all the MRT, walking, and long queues at Disneyland. Even if we can stay in disney hotels for a couple of days to save time, but I guess we have to visit some relatives and friends there too.

It's going to be a tiring trip for me! Yes, ME!!! But it's been years since we plan a holiday for the kids, so I guess we should do it. My boy would prefer Oz, but it's too ex for us, especially after being slashed off by the loss due to the flood.

HK then HK la. Sigh...

Business Matters

My business is all that matters to me and I think my wife has a hard time understanding that. Well, let me back up and say that my business isn’t ALL that matters to me but right now it’s what’s putting food on the table for my family so it’s far and away my greatest priority and I’m not ashamed of that. My wife is constantly on my back about getting online and researchingmerchant servicesand calling vendors from home but I just feel like to be successful in this kind of economy I really have to make this business my life. IT’s not really the way I want it to be but it is what it is for now and if she wants to keep getting manicures and keep the kids in private school then that’s what has to happen. I know that sounds awful – I just wish she would be a bit more supportive of me when I’m just trying to do my best for she and my family, you know?
