Some Working Attitude

We brought the kids to the turtle hatching center in Pantai Pasir Panjang this morning, but we didn't have a chance to visit the center even if we arrived there sharp at 10am.

See? It's supposed to open to public at 10am but what do you know? Once we arrived there, the men in charged told us that "Kami keluar makan pagi dulu, datang nanti." Wah seh, start work at 10am but still going out for breakfast as soon as they reached the center. But it's ok, we tried to keep the kids occupied at the dirty beach and chatting with other tourists.

Yucks! the beach is so dirty.

All of us waited from 10am to 11.30am, but there's no sign of the men coming back from their breakfast. My BIL's family couldn't wait any longer so they left.

Wait...wait....and curse. LOL!

The rest of the tourists from Damai Laut Resort and other places left as well and we were the only family waiting at the gate.

Why not open yet?

But by 12pm, we decided to leave. It's supposed to close until 2pm anyway, and I don't think they were coming back. We went for lunch at Damai Laut and wanted to leave for good. However, my boy was disappointed and he kept asking us to go back to the turtle center again. So, we went back at 2.30pm, and this time, it's OPEN!!!

If you are wondering it there's anything great inside, oh well..., I would say that my kids enjoyed it because they wanted to see the baby turtles so much after reading from the books. But then again, if you are planning for a trip to this center, good luck. I heard from a tourist that it's not open according to the time table. So, you might end up like us waiting at the gate.
